Panchatantra is a collection of ancient Indian fables, roughly divided into five (pancha) texts (tantra). The original texts were composed in Sanskrit. They date back to 300 BCE, making them around 2300 years old. The wisdom within them is timeless. The fables use various animals as a means of storytelling and impart valuable lessons within each story. These tales are rich with thought provoking examples and are ideal for children to learn life sessions. Our attempt is to retell the tales as independent books using conversational language, making it easy for children to read and for parents to read out to their children.
